Warm Winter Wishes

This week at the Sugar Bowl the challenge is to incorporate stripes or plaid into Gayle's great sketch.

Here is my take on Gayle's sketch:

Aren't those penguins cute!  I decided to make them extra cozy and warm by covering their hat and scarf in flocking powder.  You can't see it very well in the photo, but it is quite fluffy in real life.  Here's a little TIP when using flocking:  If you use multiple colors of flocking powder, work from dark to light.  I used white, pink, and orange flocking powder, but I applied the white flocking first and now it looks a little peach because the pink and orange flocking rubbed off on the white.  Blerg!

I'd also like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Christmas Cards All Year Round--"Photo inspiration"  I was inspired by the bright colors

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Please come again!
