I'm back with a little extra credit for
MFT Summer School. I already completed my homework for the monochromatic design lesson, but I wanted to try again with a simpler design. So, I decided to die-cut "hello" in different shades of red/pink. I included a teensy bit of texture with the stitched border, and that was it. I really wanted to add some daisies or some other little doo-dad, but I'm glad I resisted the temptation. This way the emphasis remains on the color itself (If you did the lesson you know that this progression from dark to light is called a gradient--oooo--vocabulary).
Thanks for stopping by!
