Simon Says...Stitch!

At Simon Says Stamp this week the challenge is to use stitching on our cards.  The DT members were gracious enough to give us a choice between real stitching and faux stitching. It wasn't difficult for me to decide which one I was going to use. I can sew on a button, but anything more complicated than that gets taken to the tailor (aka--my mother.  Her turnaround can be a bit slow, but you just can't beat the price..heehee).  I don't even own a sewing machine.   I broke out in a cold sweat "stitching" with a pen...can you imagine what I would have been like with a needle?!?

This super cute image is from Penny Black.  I thought it went well with the theme of the challenge this week.  I've colored it with my Bic Markits and Prismacolor markers.

Thanks for looking!  Leave me some love or leave me some criticism.  I don't care as long as you leave a comment!

OH!  I almost forgot!  The Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog is trying to hit 200 entries this week, so take a look at the challenge and give it a go!  If you enter the challenge you also have a chance to win a Magnolia Stamp OF YOUR CHOICE compliments of Heidi at SS!!! Whoohoo!  For details about how to win this scrummy candy, check out the details on Lorraine's blog.  While you're there check out her gorgeous creations and say hello!

I love it! "Ups and downs!" LOL! I get it! And I got the other one, too! Stitching on a card and there is the spool of thread! Ha! They didn't get past me even if it is late or should I say VERY early in the morning. Great coloring and happy, cheerful colors on the paper, too. And of course, anybody would smile at those cute little critters by Penny Black! What a GREAT card to make somebody smile and lift their spirits!
